| Half way through changing the text colour |
After looking at our album cover in more detail we realized that the 'FIJ' didn't stand out as well as we liked and hoped. We wanted to bring make it more noticeable and by this we decided as a group to change the colour of the title. As of this instead we took the paint tool on photo shop, lowered the opacity and began to paint in between the gaps of the text. We decided on red simply because it worked well with the red of the shoes.
We researched other album covers, and this working of two colours between both album title and digipack design worked extremely well. As of this we decided as a group we should incorporate it into our own work. As of this making the title and artwork flow into one and other, while at the same time making the album cover stand more effective.
I agree with the conclusion of your group's design process that adding a red accent would draw more attention to the artist's name; the choice of red works well as it echoes the shoes. I still don't see why you didn't make the canvas size the correct one for a CD cover in the first place in PhotoShop.
